Last updated: 12 April 2026

This privacy policy describes which personal data may be processed when you visit kevinboutillier.com (the “Site”), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and, where applicable, French law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.

For cookies and similar technologies, see the Cookies page.

1. Data controller

The controller of the personal data processing carried out through the Site is Kévin Boutillier, reachable at: contact@kevinboutillier.com.

2. Data collected

Depending on how you use the Site, the following categories of data may be processed:

• Technical connection and browsing data (e.g. IP address, request identifier, date and time of access, browser type, pages viewed): collected automatically by the hosting provider and technical mechanisms required to operate and secure the Site.

• Data you voluntarily provide: if you contact me by email, the information in your message (email address, name or alias if provided, message content) is processed to respond to your request.

• Cookies and similar technologies: purposes, duration and your choices are described on the Site’s “Cookies” page.

3. Purposes

Data are processed to: allow you to browse and view the Site; maintain security, proper operation and technical improvement; respond to your messages; comply with legal obligations; and, where applicable, manage cookie preferences in line with applicable law.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Processing relies in particular on: performance of pre-contractual measures and/or legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) for operating a brochure website, system security and responding to enquiries; your consent where required by law (e.g. non-essential cookies, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); compliance with legal obligations where applicable (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

5. Recipients and subprocessors

Data may be disclosed to providers strictly necessary for hosting, serving the Site and the domain name (e.g. hosting provider, DNS), acting as processors under instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some technical providers (including hosting by Vercel Inc., in the United States) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent measures).

7. Retention

Technical and log data are kept for limited periods in line with hosting constraints and security needs (typically from a few days to a few months depending on logs). Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then archived where necessary for the relationship or for the applicable statutory limitation periods.

8. Your rights

Subject to conditions and legal exceptions, you have the following rights: access; rectification; erasure; restriction of processing; objection (including to processing based on legitimate interests); data portability where processing is automated and based on consent or contract; withdrawal of consent where processing is consent-based; and instructions for the fate of your data after your death (for data processed in France).

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

9. How to exercise your rights

To exercise your rights or ask questions about your personal data, email contact@kevinboutillier.com and, where appropriate, attach a copy of an identity document to verify your identity.

10. Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to protect data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, within the limits appropriate to a brochure site (professional hosting, HTTPS).

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the Site or legal requirements. The “last updated” date at the top is revised accordingly; please review it periodically.

12. Governing law and disputes

This policy is governed by French law. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to any mandatory rules.
